JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled Painter & Decorator with experience in wallpapering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver high-quality finishes on various projects, including residential and commercial properties. You will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and wallpaper, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a painter & decorator, with a strong portfolio of completed work.
• Excellent wallpapering skills, including pattern matching and working with various wallpaper types.
• Knowledge of different paint types, application methods, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work at heights if necessary.
• A valid UK driving license

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming as needed.
• Apply paint, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper with precision, ensuring seamless results.
• Carry out decorative techniques such as stenciling, marbling, or special effects when required.
• Protect furniture, floors, and surrounding areas during work.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure expectations are met.
