WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Formal qualification in painting and decorating or a related trade
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified painter, preferably in the residential or commercial sectors
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to a high standard of finish
• Handyman experience in general home maintenance and repairs.
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and best practices
• A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to be part of a team

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Qualified Painter who also has experience in handyman tasks to join our team at Harvey Developments (NT) Pty Ltd in Alice Springs, NT. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting services and handyman tasks to residential and commercial clients in the local area.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as required
• Applying paint, varnish, or other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with relevant safety and quality standards
• Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment
• Providing excellent customer service and communication throughout projects
• Collaborating with the wider construction team to ensure smooth project delivery
• Perform handyman duties such as drywall repairs, minor plumbing, general maintenance, and other general repairs.
