Mandarin Oriental Vienna is looking for a Painter and Decorator (m/f/d) to join our Engineering Team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the proper and safe condition of all facilities, technical rooms, equipment, and work areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all fire safety, life, health, and safety standards.
  • Be familiar with the hotel’s emergency procedures.
  • Perform the tasks of the emergency team as needed.
  • Ensure personal presentation is always clean, neat, and tidy.
  • Be polite, professional, and service-oriented when interacting with guests, visitors, and staff.
  • Support guests, visitors, and staff whenever appropriate.
  • Take on specific tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Participate in training programs to support activities.
  • Be familiar with the various decorative surfaces used in and around the hotel.
  • Be familiar with the different decorative application methods required.
  • Perform finishing work, including but not limited to the following types of tasks: walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, installations and equipment, projects, metalwork, carpentry, masonry.
  • Have good skills in application methods such as (but not limited to): brushing, rolling, troweling, spraying (both air and airless), special techniques like ragging and staining.
  • Have good judgment in color toning and matching.
  • Work in specific shifts to meet business needs.
