We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painting Trades Worker to join our
growing team. If you have a keen eye for detail, take pride in quality workmanship,

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in painting or related trades
• Certificate III or IV in Painting and Decorating (preferred but not essential)
• Sound knowledge of painting tools, materials, and safety procedures
• Physically fit and able to work on ladders and scaffolds
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude

  Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

• Applying paints, stains, and varnishes as per requirements.
• Prepare work areas by erecting scaffolding and ladders, and placing drop sheets to protect surrounding surfaces from paint splatter
• Remove old paint and wallpaper, repair woodwork, fill holes and cracks, and smooth and seal surfaces in preparation for painting
• Mix and prepare paints to desired colours by combining pigments, oils, and appropriate thinning or drying agents
• Apply paints, stains, and varnishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment for a smooth, professional finish
• Hang wallpaper, align patterns, and neatly trim edges for a polished appearance
• Clean tools, equipment, and work areas to maintain a tidy and safe work environment
• Perform minor repairs, including replacing glass in timber or metal frames
• Lay and repair floor and wall tiles as required
