Downer’s Energy & Utilities business are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter Blaster to join Downer’s project team at Port of Gladstone, QLD. In this site-based role, Airless painting high build marine paint systems, grit blasting and co-ordination inputs of blasting & painting activities.

• Trade Qualified: (highly desirable) – hold a Cert III in Surface Finishing, Industrial Painting and Blasting, Panel Beating / Spray Painting or equivalent
• Site Experienced : Have proven industrial painting & blasting experience
• Technically Proficient: NACE qualification is highly desirable
• Safety-Focused: Strong safety awareness, with an ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
• Site Qualifications: Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets (within 2 years validity). Willingness to undertake a 3 site Medipass. Must be able to obtain MSIC - Maritime Security Identification Card
