We are currently seeking experienced and local Painter Blasters. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering maintenance and project support to our clients in the Gladstone region. This is a permanent full-time role, with some overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning surfaces prior to and after surface preparation to specification.
  • Mixing paint according to instructions. Selecting and preparing paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
  • Use of hand tools, such as: paint brushes; rollers; sanding blocks; wallpaper cutters; trimming knives; and fillers and spatulas.
  • Ensure protective coatings are applied using brush, roller and spray equipment.
  • Applying paints to surfaces using all forms of brushes and roller nap types, using appropriate techniques to minimise drips, runs and brush marks, and to maintain straight edges.
  • Ensure all finished coatings have been verified and inspected after coating has been completed.
  • Ensure all coating complies with standards and specifications that meets Industry, Customer and Business system requirements.
