Description

Position Summary An Industrial Journeyman Painter/Blaster will paint equipment and structures for protection and cosmetic purposes. The position will also be required to maintain, mix, and have thorough knowledge of paint and other coating material so that to ensure the equipment or structure is painted and protected as per contract or specifications. Must have experience spray painting, operating sandblasting equipment and fireproof applicating. Qualification Highlights * Must be able to read blueprints, sketches, or building plans. * Must have all Knowledge Skills and Abilities required (see below). * Must be willing to assist other crafts while not actively working on a painting project. * Must be able to meet all physical requirements. * Must be able and willing to follow all safety rules and regulations. * Must have all required tools. * Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

The Industrial Journeyman Painter/Blaster is responsible for painting and protecting equipment and structures for cosmetic and protective purposes. This includes mixing coating materials and ensuring all work meets contract specifications.
