About the role Crown Equipment is currently seeking an individual to join the Service Team based in our Singapore Branch Office as a Painter. You will be responsible for preparing and painting lift trucks and associated equipment to a high standard, ensuring a professional finish that reflects our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Key Result Areas & Responsibilities Prepare for Paint Prepare surfaces of lift trucks and components for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming. Mix and Paint Lift Trucks to Standard Mix and apply paint using spray guns and other appropriate equipment. Ensure no overspray on parts and ensuring all panels are free of overspray. Perform touch-ups and refinishing as required. Detailing units Inspect finished work for quality, uniformity, and adherence to company standards. Fitting panels to equipment and place decals in correct locations. Preserving equipment Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition. Others Get schedule from Workshop Supervisor for paint priority. Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete job records and paint logs as required. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Proven experience as a spray painter, preferably in an industrial or automotive environment. Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and application techniques. Ability to read and interpret job instructions and technical documents. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Familiarity with workplace health and safety standards. Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods. Forklift license (desirable but not essential). Trade qualifications in spray painting (desirable but not essential depending on experience). Qualifications Primary to Secondary education
