Description The Crowne Plaza North Augusta is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Painter to join our hotel maintenance team. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of the hotel through high-quality painting, finishing, drywall repair, and minor surface repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The ideal candidate understands the importance of aesthetics, safety, and guest satisfaction in a hospitality environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform interior and exterior painting, staining, and finishing as needed Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, priming, and repairing imperfections Perform basic to intermediate drywall repairs, including patching holes, repairing cracks, taping, mudding, sanding, and blending surfaces prior to painting Paint guest rooms, hallways, offices, public areas, and back-of-house spaces Touch up walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and fixtures Match paint colors, textures, and finishes as required Maintain painting and drywall tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition Follow all safety procedures, including ladder safety and proper use of PPE Coordinate work with Engineering and Operations to minimize guest disruption Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner Assist with other maintenance or engineering tasks as assigned Requirements Previous experience as a painter, preferably in a hotel, commercial, or multi-unit environment Working knowledge of drywall repair and surface preparation techniques Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Understanding of basic workplace and construction safety practices Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience Experience with texture matching and finish work Basic carpentry skills Bilingual (English/Spanish)
