Description
Location: Hull Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm, Friday 7.30am-3.00pm Contract: Fixed-term (Duration of Apprenticeship 3 Years) Rate of Pay: £8.00 per hour Role overview: Reporting to the Construction Services Management Team and trade qualified mentors, the apprentice will complete a 2 year apprenticeship programme, including trade studies at college, to gain skills and experience in painting and decorating. The primary role of a painter and decorator in the construction industry is to ensure a high quality finish and enhance the aesthetics of the building, as well as to protect the various surfaces and fixtures from weathering, decay and corrosion. We will develop your skills and knowledge and train you to carry out painter and decorator tasks safely and to a high standard. Possess a positive approach to learning, development and progression. Have a flexible outlook towards hours worked (some out of hours working may be required).
