SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team at Blue Support Services Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various projects in the estate which can cover nurseries, health estate buildings and nurseries.
This role will require night shifts to be support our commercial estate works.

KEY SKILL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years Painting and Decorating Experience
• CSCS Card (Desired)
• Valid UK Driving License (Essential)
• Well versed in completing paperwork including PPM paperwork, inspection sheets, RAMS etc
• Good working knowledge of the building services environment and other disciplines would be a distinct advantage.
• Your work will take you into buildings with children and vulnerable adults, therefore you will be asked to complete an enhanced DBS check.

• Perform all aspects of surface preparation for painting
• Perform all aspects of painting and decorating in residential and commercial settings
• Complete high level painting and cleaning where required
• To ensure all work is completed to the required standard and deadlines.
• Perform any other duties within your capabilities as assigned.
• Adhere to safe working practices at all times in accordance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the correct tools, uniform and PPE are worn at all times and any items not fit for purpose are reported to your Team Leader.
• Safe usage of access equipment for working at height such as scaffold, ladders and work platforms
• Ensure that the appropriate RAMS are completed prior to commencing work and escalate any concerns to your Team Leader.
• Maintain high standards of professional conduct and personal appearance.
• Work as a positive team player, demonstrating mutual respect and integrity for others.
• Maintain open and effective communication at all levels within the business.
• Demonstrate willingness to assist colleagues and team members.
