We are seeking Qualified Painters committed to delivering high quality work to join our respected, family-oriented team working on residential high-rise and government/commercial projects throughout SEQ.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Require trade qualified and/or experience with general understanding of painting trade for painting interior and external surfaces.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certificate III in Painting & Decorating and/or proven experience as commercial painter
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial or high-rise work
• Construction White Card or equivalent

SKILLS:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Ability to work well in a team
• Must be approachable with positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organised and capable to meet deadlines
• Take pride in your work

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and apply paint and substrates to surfaces, walls, ceilings, doors, timber, render and steel.

TASKS INCLUDE:

• Sanding, masking, taping, gapping, brush and roll painting, spraying
• Work on high-rise residential and commercial construction sites
• Follow site safety and work closely with supervisors and teammates
• Maintain clean work areas and meet timeframes
• Ability to liaise with clients, staff and management
• Represent the company in positive manner on project sites
