QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in the aeronautical field / manufacturing industry is an asset
  • Gas turbine component painting is a strong asset
  • Ability to read and understand instructions in English
  • Be autonomous, able to work without supervision
  • Be meticulous and organized

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS IN QUEBEC:

Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec.

Responsibilities
  • Must be able to follow manufacturer’s instructions
  • Define, verify and prepare the parts before applying the coating
  • Prepare the product mixture to be applied to the parts
  • Apply the coating using the appropriate tools
  • Perform the necessary surface polishing
  • Check output for consistency with specifications and eliminate defects
  • May be required to transport parts, components or modules from one workstation to another
  • May be required to clean parts
  • May be required to work in another category
  • Ability to work with others and to make suggestions and improve procedures
