Description Preps manufactured products and truck equipment to be painted. Operates paint equipment to ensure high quality finish and appearance. Maintains work area in a clean, organized manner. Responsible for maintaining paint equipment. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines. Paints truck equipment and manufacture parts, etc. using an air spray system. Prepares parts and equipment for painting using thinner, an air blower and, if needed, sandblasting to ensure a clean painting surface. Maintains paint booth by setting up painting equipment, mixing paint and adjusting equipment to produce desired result. Manages the drying process and stores painted equipment appropriately. Maintains work area, equipment and supplies in neat, organized manner. Final inspection of finished work and timely completion of associated paperwork.
