Description The Painter Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating painting operations at ecoat.us, ensuring high-quality finishes on all products. This role involves leading a team of painters, overseeing the application of ecoat and other coatings, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the painting team to ensure timely and high-quality application of coatings. Coordinate painting schedules and workflow to meet production deadlines. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Train and mentor team members in proper painting techniques and safety procedures. Maintain painting equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good condition and adequately stocked. Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve painting-related issues. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure work environment. Document and report production metrics and quality issues to management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in painting or coatings is preferred. Proven experience as a lead painter or similar role in an industrial or manufacturing setting. In-depth knowledge of ecoat and other industrial coating processes. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and quality control. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using painting and coating equipment. Working Conditions: This position involves working in an industrial environment with exposure to paint fumes and chemicals. Physical demands include standing for long periods and handling painting equipment.
