DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ability to prep, paint, and touch up surfaces * Remove fixtures and clean surfaces * Follow safety protocols while working * Ensure the quality and accuracy of work done * Maintain a neat and organized work environment * Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, patching, and priming. * Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. * Cleaning up after each job. * Keeping accurate records of materials used and time spent on each job. * Maintaining a clean and organized workspace. * Working with other tradespeople to ensure a successful project. JOB REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to pass a drug screen, physical exam, & background check * Must be able to read assembly blueprints in English format * Must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required * Ability to solve practical problems and work with limited standardization * Working knowledge of shop safety practices * Understanding of quality assurance concepts, typically acquired through in-house training * Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment * Adaptability and willingness to be cross trained * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting * Comfortable working in a factory environment with temperature variations * Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, and repetitive movements for up to 8 hours per day * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds COMPETITIVE BENEFITS: (visit usbenefits.nov.com for more information about our benefits offerings) * 401(k) Retirement Plan – NOV matches every dollar up to 5% of base pay and overtime for every dollar you invest. * Competitive medical plans that are effective your date of hire.
