EDUCATION

Required - High School diploma or equivalent

WORK EXPERIENCE

Required - 3 years’ commercial painting experience

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)

  • Working knowledge and experience in the area of paint mixture and application as specified to assure good bonding between unfinished and finished products.
  • Ability to install wallpaper, vinyl or other materials to walls using specifications by the manufacturer and by using correct tools to accomplish the job.
  • Positive interpersonal skills; ability to effectively and professionally work with people from all backgrounds.
  • Ability to work and experience working under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to and experience reading, writing, drawing, measuring and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
  • Knowledge to safely operate all tools and equipment according to OSHA and manufacturers’ recommendations.
  • Ability to and experience handling mental and physical stress and pressures to complete all jobs, including emergencies which could result in contact with patients, guests, family members and staff.
Responsibilities
  • Performs general repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Completes Preventive Maintenance inspections.
  • Utilizes effective judgment and initiative when performing job duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to company policies.
  • Other related duties as required.
