Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, mixing, and applying industrial and automotive-style coatings to manufactured products according to specifications. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, works well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and values safety, precision, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Painting & Production Apply coatings to products using air spray guns in accordance with project specifications Mix coating liquids and perform color matching to meet client-specified colors across various substrates Mask and protect surfaces not intended for painting or coating Follow approved processes for painting a wide range of materials and substrates Inspect painted products for quality, identifying runs, sags, missed areas, or defects Monitor project progress to ensure on-time completion Preparation & Equipment Assist with prep work as needed, including surface preparation Perform daily cleaning and basic maintenance of painting equipment per manufacturer instructions Safely load and unload materials for transport Coordination & Compliance Coordinate with the Paint and Finishing Manager and other team members to communicate workflow and project status Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines, including hazardous waste disposal requirements Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Teamwork & Additional Responsibilities Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals Assist others in accomplishing assigned tasks when needed Perform additional related duties as assigned Maintain a positive, safety-first mindset in all work activities Qualifications Experience Prior work experience as a painter in a manufacturing or industrial environment required Experience with automotive-style paints and paint mixing techniques strongly preferred Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to manage projects through completion in a fast-paced environment Comfortable performing physically demanding work Physical Demands & Work Environment Must be at least 18 years of age Regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, and perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods Requires good multi-limb coordination and the ability to move quickly and safely Work Environment Primarily works in a workshop/manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels Occasional work in outdoor conditions, including inclement weather Noise levels consistent with a construction or production site Schedule & Expectations Full-time position based in High Point, NC Regular business hours with potential for long days and weekend work based on project needs Adherence to all company policies is required
