ü Must also hang parts from racks, blasts, washes, dries parts, and apply an even coating of powder that meets Company standards
ü Able to follow directions to determine what color parts get painted
ü Examine and feel surface for defects.
ü Determine what process should be used when cleaning and hanging parts.
ü Use a variety of hand tools and machines.
ü Use a grinder over the surface to remove scratches, excess weld material and burrs.
ü Perform light maintenance on machinery to keep it in good working order
ü Remove worn abrasive discs, wheels and belts and sharpen chisels and scrapers.
ü Operate sandblasting machine to clean surfaces prior to painting or coating
ü Must be able to move parts in and out of area
ü Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety standards.
ü Performs other duties as described under Helper.
