Description

Description The painter prepares surfaces for painting and finishing; applies undercoats and finish coats using the full range of application methods from spray to powder coat; mixes paints and finishes. Prepares, primes, sands, seals, patches and paints surfaces utilizing spray paint and/or powder coating. Operates, cleans and maintains all painting equipment, including brush, sprayers and pumps, etc. Safely stores and labels all materials. Mixes materials for proper application. Maintains and repairs/replaces all painting personal protective equipment. Loads and moves materials to paint area using manual pallet jack Cleans spray chambers, conveyors, tanks, hoses, and nozzles using solvent. Must be able to communicate (read, write and speak) the English language clearly Requirements Ability to setup and operate paint booth machines. Ability to use standard measuring tools (i.e. micrometers and gauges). Ability to left up to 100 pounds; 30 – 50 pounds regularly. Ability to operate and use required tools and equipment skillfully and safely. Ability to coordinate work flow for multiple projects. Ability to use sander and grinder
