Painter Role Overview: As a Painter, you are a critical part of our production finish team. You will be responsible for applying high-quality powder and wet spray coatings, ensuring every part meets our engineering standards for durability and aesthetics. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional committed to efficiency, safety, and "defect-free" craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: Precision Finishing: Apply powder coat and wet spray finishes to various parts, ensuring uniform coverage and adherence to specifications. Line Operations: Manage the paint line (loading/unloading), monitor equipment performance, and make real-time adjustments to maintain flow. Quality Control: Inspect finished pieces against engineering drawings and tolerances to ensure zero-defect delivery. Maintenance & Setup: Perform thorough cleaning and color changes to prevent cross-contamination; conduct routine equipment maintenance. Material Handling: Safely move materials using overhead cranes, rigging, and lifting equipment. Documentation: Interpret work orders for material specs and labeling requirements; accurately record operational data. What You’ll Need to Succeed: Experience: Proven ability to follow technical written instructions and engineering standards. Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to collaborate with the team and participate in training. Technical Aptitude: Ability to pass a vision test (corrective lenses okay) and meet physical assessment requirements for the role. Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Reliability: A commitment to safety protocols and a team-first mentality.
