Description Wheeler Machinery is seeking a skilled and safety-minded Body Repair & Paint Technician to join our team full time in Salt Lake City, UT. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in restoring and maintaining the appearance and integrity of Cat and non-Cat equipment that our customers depend on every day. Duties and Responsibilities Identifying the different types of surfaces. utilizing proper tools Plastic and metal surfaces. Steam clean, sandblast and prep Willingness to Read and interpret blueprints located in SIS Web Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and services performed on equipment to correctly write service reports. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly. Perform necessary repairs on all types of components. Attend all hands-on training and attend all assigned technical classes to further develop your skills & knowledge. Perform other tasks as assigned by Team Leader or Supervisor to support the team and gain experience to further develop your skills. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical education in heavy or light equipment repair is a plus. A strong interest in mechanical systems for Light and heavy machinery. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a desire to build technical skills. Proficient in using hand tools. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
