About the role We’re looking for experienced Paint & Blaster Tradespeople to join our APLNG team on Curtis Island. In this hands‑on role, you’ll carry out blasting, protective coating, and painting work across tanks, piping, and structural assets. You’ll be part of a tight‑knit crew delivering safe, high‑quality work that keeps our client’s operations running smoothly. What we offer • Paid overtime and site allowances • All PPE and tools provided • Training, tickets, and the opportunity to step up • Job security with a major contractor • Access to employee discounts and health programs • Work on a long‑term oil & gas project Key Responsibilities • Perform blasting, painting, and coating work to required specifications • Follow all UGL and Client safety, QA, and permit‑to‑work procedures • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment • Assist with inspections, QA documentation, and daily work records About you • Experience as a Blaster Painter • Safety‑focused and reliable, with a strong work ethic • Able to work effectively within a team • Willing to learn and take on new challenges • White Card + trade qualification minimum Desirable: Confined space, working at heights, EWP, forklift, breathing apparatus, gas testing, and previous oil & gas or petrochemical experience.
