POSITION: PAINTER

Location: Barrie, ON
Payrate: $19-$22/hr
Shift: Morning (Fulltime)
We are national painting contractor specializing in industrial, commercial, and institutional projects and is looking for team leaders, painters and helpers. We are expanding and have projects going on in Ontario.
Responsibilities:
 Leading and managing painting projects, developing project plans, and
ensuring timely completion.
 Conducting inspections to ensure the work meets quality standards and
specifications.
 Supervising junior painters, providing guidance, and training on techniques
and safety practices.
 Ordering and maintaining inventory of painting supplies and equipment.
 Maintaining records of work performed, materials used, and costs.
 Ensuring painting tools and equipment are in good working order.
 Effectively communicating with clients, project managers, and other team
members.
 Mixing paints and matching colours
 Prepping surfaces to be painted – sanding, taping.
 Paint using brush, roll.
 Report any and all safety issues to your supervisor.
 Work with your Foreman to make sure jobs are completed on time and at our
high standard.
 Ensure site safety, completion of pre-use equipment inspections, and
participate in safety talks.
 Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:

 Experience with Painting an asset.
 Experience with Health & Safety an asset.
 Experience in Construction an asset.
 Driver’s License.
