Responsibilities
  • Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to surfaces using brushers, rollers and sprayers.
  • Prepare paints to match required colours accurately, ensuring they align with existing shades.
  • Oversee the entire customer journey from project initiation to its conclusion ensuring satisfaction throughout.
  • Perform general painting tasks using brushes and rollers proficiently.
  • Apply sealing, undercoating, and top coating to walls, ceiling, doors and door frames.
  • Safely assemble, disassemble, and oversee basic scaffolding used for painting operations.
  • Assess job sites for surface preparation needs and foresee potential challenges
  • Arrange scaffolding, ladders and protective coverings to maintain a safe and orderly workspace.
  • Prepare surfaces by sanding, priming, and rectifying imperfections to optimize paint adhesion, including the removal of old paint and wallpaper, resolving woodwork issues and achieving flawless sealing.
  • Repair or replace damaged drywall, plaster or other substrates before painting.
  • Thoroughly clean tools, equipment, and work areas upon completing tasks
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
