The Paint and Coating Specialist will have the ability to bring our projects to life through the skilled application of finish coatings. Whether working on a team or working solo on a project, the Paint and Coating Specialist overcomes all obstacles to ensure a world-class product is delivered on time, every time! Job Summary and Job Functions Applying paint and other coatings manually and with spray applicators Spraying multiple types of finishes, paints, and coatings to various materials Sanding and smoothing the item in preparation for finishing Understanding specifications of the project and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and following written instructions Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly Working with glues and bonding materials Cutting and assembling materials to specifications Using power tools and hand tools to cut and prepare materials for assembly Follows all safety standards and procedures Keeping shop and work area clean and organized Works with a sense of urgency to meet short deadlines without compromising quality Align with and believe in the company core values: We Say Yes, We Hustle, We Think Bigger, We Keep Promises, We Build People Up Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to be exclusive or exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the position. Requirements Experience in commercial, residential or auto body repair and finish work preferred but not required Experience with PPG or Matthews paint mixing systems strongly considered Familiarity with a variety of paint finish techniques on diverse substrates Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming Mechanical aptitude and good math skills A keen eye for color detail and results-driven approach Outstanding written, email and oral communication Align with and believe in the company core values: We Say Yes, We Hustle, We Think Bigger, We Keep Promises, We Build People Up Physical Demands and Work Environment Able to lift up to 50-70 pounds unassisted Repetitive motion. Responsibilities

The specialist is responsible for applying various paints and coatings to materials using manual and spray applicators. This includes preparing surfaces through sanding and smoothing, reading blueprints for specifications, and ensuring final products meet quality standards.
