FAMILIARITY WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS (SSPC, ISO, ASTM, ETC.).

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and ensuring the quality of construction projects, including residential and commercial painting, renovations, and various other construction tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques to maintain high standards of workmanship.

SKILLS

  • Proficient in construction estimating and understanding color theory related to painting projects.
  • Experience in residential and commercial painting, including knowledge of airless paint spraying techniques.
  • Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, caulking, and trim carpentry.
  • Strong background in renovation and remodeling projects with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to assess project compliance.
  • Knowledgeable in carpentry, concrete finishing, masonry work, and industrial painting processes.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to construction tasks.
  • Experience with fixture installation and restoration projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with contractors and construction teams to address any issues or discrepancies found during inspections.
  • Provide detailed reports on inspection findings and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment effectively for various inspection tasks.
  • Assist in the training of junior inspectors or team members on best practices in construction quality assurance.
