Our Nurses enjoy an environment that gives priority to their flexibility but at the same time fully utilizing their nursing skill sets. This role is not your afternoon tea with Grandma. In this Palliative position, duties will include providing skilled clinical care in the client home setting. Casual position Must be available alternate weekends for day shifts On Call rotation, once per week, either 3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am Location - Greater Hamilton Area Drivers license and car required, due to the nature of this traveling position, client home to client home. Leap Training, Palliative Certificate, Oncology considered an Asset What you’ll be doing: As an RN, make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of nursing care to our clients in their community. This includes but not limited to wound care, intravenous therapy, and health teaching chronic disease prevention. As the primary care planner to your clients, you have the autonomy and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship and preceptorship programs. You will teach, delegate tasks and functions to different levels of workers and client family members while maintaining our industry’s highest level of practice. You are the nursing care expert for your community. With our efficient work schedules, you will be focused more on care time and less travel time.
