POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pan Dumper plays a critical role in the baking production process by safely and efficiently dumping baked or unbaked product from pans and preparing pans for reuse. This position ensures continuous line flow, product quality, and adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced bakery manufacturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is a plus.
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Operate automated or manual pan dumping equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Inspect baked goods for quality defects before or after dumping.
  • Remove and discard damaged or defective product as directed.
  • Stack and organize empty pans for return to the pan conveyor system or washing line.
  • Ensure continuous flow of pans through the production line to avoid downtime.
  • Assist with line sanitation and changeovers as needed.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all safety and food safety protocols.
  • Communicate any equipment issues or product concerns to the Line Lead or Supervisor.
  • Support team members in meeting production goals and quality targets.
