Role: Bilingual Business Development Representative (English & Spanish)
Division: EF Tours
Location: Panama City
Join us at EF Tours, a division of Education First, in our mission to open the world through education. As a Bilingual Sales Specialist, you’ll be part of a growing team that is dedicated to driving greater engagement with our customers. You will interact with customers every day, inspiring educators to show their students the world by creating international travel programs at their schools. You will expand the impact of our online chat service: nurturing sales leads by building customer excitement and by fostering positive customer sentiment; as well as reaching out directly to using email, telephone and text. This is an ideal role for an individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, looking to excel in a unique and growing hybrid sales model of customer engagement, personalization, and customer acquisition.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1+ years of sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Ability to influence and engage prospective customers
  • Capacity to balance technological and functional skills with clear and concise communication to create a positive customer experience
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Comfort as an independent self-starter with excitement for new challenges
  • Experience tracking and reporting on metrics and KPIs within Excel
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • The following shifts are available:
  • Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour break
  • Monday-Friday, 10am to 7pm with a 1-hour break
Responsibilities
  • Understanding our sales process through qualified
  • Use phone, text and email to contact potential new customers
  • Utilize your knowledge of sales and customer service to effectively support customers through online chat
  • Make 50-100 outbounds calls per day
  • Engage with middle and high school teachers through our chat and phone to build desire and commitment to launch international travel programs
  • Utilize and refine your sales techniques of controlling and engaging conversations, overcoming objections, and confidently ask for a meeting with a Tour Consultant
  • Effectively pass conversations to Tour Consultants to close the sale
  • Collaborate regularly with Sales team members in Boston, Denver, and Austin to drive conversion and share best practices
  • Report on performance to explore opportunities for improvement and innovation
