Imagine working in a state-of-the-art facility located in Southampton where your expertise is not just valued but celebrated. This role offers a competitive basic salary of £42,500, with the potential to earn up to £60,000 through bonuses and overtime. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, totalling 42.5 hours a week. For those eager to boost their earnings, overtime is available, including the option to work on Saturdays.

Skills and experience required:

  • At least 2 years experience as an automotive Panel / MET
  • ATA/ NVQ certification is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in Paint Spraying / Panel Beating / Strip and Fit
  • Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales
  • Work skillfully and safely under pressure
  • Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers specification
  • Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision
  • Be flexible in your approach
  • Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind
  • You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of professionals in a well-established and respected automotive service centre. The role involves conducting diagnostic tests, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of motor vehicles with precision and efficiency. The position demands a commitment to delivering exceptional service and upholding the highest standards of workmanship.

MAIN ROLE DUTIES:

  • Carrying out a variety of aspects within a Bodyshop
  • Panel Beating / Strip and Fit (MET)
  • Planning work and ordering parts

Skills and experience required:

  • At least 2 years experience as an automotive Panel / MET
  • ATA/ NVQ certification is advantageous but not essential
