Description
Responsibilities
  • Remove and assess damaged vehicle body panels and components; plan and execute repairs to metal, fiberglass, and plastic bodywork.
  • Reshape, weld, and form replacement panels; restore structural alignment using jigs, lifts, and measurement equipment.
  • Prepare repair surfaces grinding, filing, filling, and finishing to specified tolerances prior to handover to the paint/prep team.
  • Replace doors, panels and components as required; ensure repairs meet safety and manufacturer repair procedures.
  • Restore vehicle structural integrity to manufacturer standards following collision.
  • Refit components like mirrors, trims, and lights post-paint for final delivery.
  • Liaise with estimators, painters and insurers to coordinate repairs, document work performed, and confirm quality outcomes.
  • Maintain safe workshop practices, use PPE, and comply with hazardous materials and waste disposal procedures
