The Opportunity
Panel Builders/Wirers are primarily employed within the manufacturing industry, and are skilled in reading schematic and mechanical drawings to assemble wiring, switches, cables, and other mechanical or electrical pieces for use on high voltage infrastructure. There are multiple opportunities available located at our Wingfield location.

About You

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Assemble panels according to design documents
  • Cutting, drilling, filing, wiring, painting
  • Identify and resolve errors or issues with respective stake holders
  • Critically test panels and correct errors
  • Participate in system improvements
  • Complete administrative duties associated with the tasks
  • Creating and de-creating equipment
  • Handling, loading and un-loading goods
  • House keeping

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL POSSESS:

  • Electrical Trade qualification
  • Basic Safety Training (such as Industrial White Card)
  • First Aid and LV Rescue is desirable however can be provided
  • Proven electrical experience in Industrial or Construction industries
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated competence using power tools, hand tools, ladders, welding, soldering, and testing equipment.
  • A logical and practical approach to work
  • High focus and attention to detail
  • The ability to read mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams
