Description

We’re hiring a Panel Department Lead to oversee the fabrication of window panels (back panels, sandwich panels, railing panels, projection panels, and custom parts).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in fabrication/manufacturing (aluminum or related industry).
  • Knowledge of CNC, laser cutting & bending processes.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Safety and quality focused mindset.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in panel fabrication or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with custom panel design, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting, production tracking, and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating across teams and reporting to management.
  • CNC program, solid works, 3D software’s.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design & fabrication of panels.
  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Oversee CNC, laser cutting, bending, and panel assembly.
  • Train, support, and guide the panel team.
  • Coordinate daily production schedules and allocate workforce effectively.
  • Review and interpret shop drawings/blueprints to ensure fabrication accuracy.
  • Maintain production records, material usage logs, and ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and optimize workflow.
  • Communicate material shortages, tooling needs, or equipment issues to management/maintenance.
  • Support onboarding and training of new hires to build departmental capability.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Glass, Assembly, Installation) to ensure smooth handoff and workflow.
