*Qualifications and Certifications:
4 years’ Panel Fabrication experience (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair exterior cladding materials on buildings and structures
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and specifications of cladding installations
- Measure, cut, and shape cladding materials to fit specific areas
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and insulation
- Use hand tools and power tools to install, fasten, and secure cladding materials
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate cladding installations with other building components
- Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to specifications
Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints for cladding installations
- Knowledge of different types of cladding materials and their installation techniques
- Experience using hand tools and power tools commonly used in cladding installations
- Strong carpentry skills for cutting, shaping, and fitting cladding materials
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for handling large cladding panels or materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure accurate installation
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
