Job Description For over 40 years, GfK has been responsible for TV and video audience measurement in Germany. Program planners at TV stations, content producers, marketers, and media planners from brands and agencies rely on daily ratings provided by “AGF Videoforschung”, our client at GfK Media Measurement Germany, to evaluate the success of television broadcasts. GfK Global Service Center Media Measurement (GSC MM) is a global operations department located in Sofia. As a centralized operations Hub it includes positions with various job profiles on support and professional career track, working closely with all local markets Operations as well as various global Technology and Product teams. The department services include data monitoring and operations, support for various systems and processing pipelines, and data analytics both for MM Integrated Solutions and MM Core Currency products. We are currently seeking a (Junior) Specialist with German to join our Media Measurement operations department (Panel Development) in Sofia. Located in our Sofia Hub, he or she will work as a dedicated member of our Media Measurement Germany (MMG) department. The main responsibilities will include support to German speaking panel households participating in TV audience research, as well as contribute to various methodological and special projects. Documentation and quality management are also key aspects of the daily work. Key Activities First level support (via phone and email) to German-speaking panel participants in a media research panel Assist panel participants with technical problems Support in quality assurance – verify usage behavior (compliance) Identify opportunities to improve data quality Maintain household data using specialized software tools Assist in optimizing internal workflows and processes Act as a communication bridge between panel households and internal/external specialist departments Required skills and knowledge Very good German language skills, both spoken and written Good English language skills Good knowledge in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Technical affinity and ability to convey technical information effectively Experience with Jira and Confluence is considered as advantage Experience in support (telephone hotline) is considered as advantage We offer: Food vouchers of 120 BGN monthly Life Insurance Additional Medical Insurance, incl Prophylactics, Outpatient care, Inpatient care, Expenses for medications and medical products Additional paid leave of 3 days in case of no overdue leave days from previous year Free access to LinkedIn Learning platform.
