REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 +Experience in woodworking/cabinet manufacturing is a must.
• Experience as a Panel Saw operator is an asset, specifically with a Rear Loader CNC Horizontal Beam Saw
• CNC Machinist certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of materials, hardware, and cabinet / fixture design methodology.
• Woodworking industry experience.
• Strong team working skills.
• This position requires the candidate to be physically fit and able to maneuver at a steady pace, as manual labour will be required
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• High comfort level in all applicable computer software applications
• Driven to constantly learn and update knowledge base

• Set up, program, and operate computerized or manual woodworking machines, primarily dealing with large panel saws. (Rear Loader CNC Horizontal Beam Saw)
• Interpret engineering drawing, blueprints, and manuals to determine the measurement.
• Operate equipment to create quality custom parts according to specifications and dimensions.
• Organise the work area and performs daily maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoots the machine as required.
• Document measurement of products for accuracy of equipment.
• Ability to follow the production schedule and meet deadlines.
• Clean-up work area, equipment, supplies and materials.
• Maintain and apply standard safety practice and procedures as set out by the company.
• Work safely, identify hazards and follow safety procedures.
• Other necessary and related departmental duties as assigned.
