Join our team as a Senior Panel Shop Technician, where you'll play a vital role in assembling, wiring, and testing high-quality electrical control panels. Your expertise will ensure our products meet rigorous safety and performance standards, while your mentorship will help shape the next generation of skilled technicians. In this hands-on role, you’ll take the lead in assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels that meet the highest engineering and industry standards. You’ll interpret complex schematics and technical documentation with ease, ensuring every panel is built with accuracy and care. As challenges arise, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve intricate electrical and mechanical issues, keeping production on track. You’ll also play a key leadership role—mentoring junior technicians, fostering a collaborative team culture, and working closely with engineering and production teams to refine designs and improve processes. Your attention to detail will shine as you maintain thorough documentation and uphold strict safety and compliance standards throughout the panel shop. Details about the role: Work location: Ryan Road Panel Shop, Warren MI Work type: On-site at local Paslin locations. Not available for remote work. Expected hours of work: Typical work schedules for this site are 6am-230pm, Monday to Friday. This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business. Travel: This position may have the opportunity for occasional travel to customer sites or local travel to other Paslin locations. Work Environment: This position operates in a manufacturing site environment. This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery. Direct Reports: This position reports to the Panel Shop Manager and does not have direct reports. Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. This role requires the use of hand tools. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 40lbs. Candidate Qualifications: * 8+ years proven experience in electrical field and/or panel assembly. Knowledge of Electrical Standards, panel assembly & setup * High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and successfully layout equipment according to prints * Knowledge of welding and automated assembly What’s in It for You: * Competitive pay and great benefits.
