Panel Beater
Location: Nottingham
Salary: up to £48,750 basic per annum plus bonus, OTE £60,000 +
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Saturday mornings as required
Are you looking to join a highly successful bodyshop in Nottingham? We are seeking a skilled and experienced Panel Beater to join our client’s workshop in Nottingham.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Panel Beater to join such a great team and a company that offers training & promotion opportunities.

PANEL BEATER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have previous experience in Panel repair/replacement in a Bodyshop setting and has completed a Panel technician modern apprenticeship or equivalent
  • Be able to carry out large repairs
  • Demonstrate a positive, right first-time attitude
  • Show a great team player mentality
  • Work to a very high standard and a high level of accuracy
  • Be aware of Health and Safety in the workplace

Responsibilities
  • Replacing and repairing of panels; straightening and filling
  • Completing body alignment
  • Welding and bonding
  • Filler work, dent removal and pin pulling
  • Ensuring vehicles are thoroughly examined and reporting orally/in writing on general condition of vehicles with emphasis on customer safety and satisfaction
  • Working in a manner consistent with the minimisation of lost, non-revenue and/ or diversionary time, recording all such time in an accurate and complete manner
  • Keeping work areas clean and tidy, well organised and safe from hazards to Health and Safety
