Description Pantry Assistant Center of Hope Part-Time, 29 Hours/Week $14.00/Hour Schedule: Determined on a case by case basis GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Responsible for greeting clients, answering phone and schedule appointments. Assist with packing pantry orders and other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Answer Phone. 2. Schedule pantry appointments. 3. Greet clients. 4. Assist with packing pantry orders. 5. Assist with program donation processing, pick-ups and deliveries 6. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements. 7. Other duties as assigned. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Professional telephone skills. 2. Proficient in reading and writing. 3. Proficient computer skills. 4. Excellent communication skills (in person and on telephone). 5. Outgoing personality with the ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals. 6. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability. 7. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation). MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED preferred. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Customer service experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift, carry and load objects weighing 40 pounds or more. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods during the work day.
