We are currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated Pantry Assistant to support our corporate workplace operations in the heart of the Sydney CBD. This role is responsible for maintaining the presentation, cleanliness, and stock levels of multiple kitchenettes throughout the workplace. Working largely independently and reporting directly to the Chef, this position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong organisational skills, and enjoys ensuring a high standard of service behind the scenes. THE POSITION                                                                                                                                                                            * Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all office kitchenettes and pantry areas * Ensure kitchenettes are consistently stocked with consumables, beverages, and supplies * Monitor stock levels and report shortages or issues to the Chef * Rotate stock and check use-by dates to ensure food safety compliance * Assist with basic food preparation and ad hoc kitchen duties as required * Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards * Build positive working relationships with internal staff and the hospitality team THE PERSON * Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively * High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a tidy, well-presented environment * Reliable, punctual, and well-organised * Good communication skills and a professional, friendly manner * Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided) * Flexible and willing to assist with additional tasks when required THE BENEFITS We place great importance on being an employer of choice and offer excellent career opportunities including internal transfers; ongoing training and development; a competitive salary; recognition programs including awards and long-service recognition; team event days; site-based benefits; and company-wide discounts.
