REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role preferred
    -Food Handlers Certified
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to work day’s, evenings, weekends, we are closed most holidays

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Pantry / Garde Manger Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is all about precision, speed, and pride in the details. You’ll be responsible for preparing and plating cold dishes — from tartares to composed salads and seafood towers — that set the tone for the John & Sons experience.

DUTIES

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in meal preparation and presentation
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed
  • Help with inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
