We are looking for a dedicated Pantry Specialist to join our Ground Floor team. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who loves exceptional service and thrives in an energetic, constantly moving environment where product knowledge truly matters. This is a full‑time role of 37 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday. If you enjoy working with gourmet food products, engaging with customers, and contributing to a warm and welcoming department, we’d love to hear from you. What You’ll Do As a Pantry Specialist, you will help create an inviting and engaging experience for every customer who enters the department. You’ll share your knowledge of our speciality products, local favourites, pantry essentials, and go-to gifts. You'll offer thoughtful recommendations and help customers discover new favourites. Building relationships will be a key part of your day, as you get to know customer preferences and assist them with personalised suggestions. A key part of this role also includes creating beautiful hampers, so a creative eye, strong attention to detail, and a focus on presentation are essential. This department moves quickly, so you will also play an important role in keeping the space running smoothly. That includes unpacking and organising stock, staying on top of replenishment throughout the day, and helping to maintain excellent merchandising and presentation standards. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with inventory is essential, as is the ability to stay calm and efficient during busy trading periods. You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and support high service standards. Successful Candidate Attributes Previous retail experience required - experience in food retail or premium products is an advantage Passion for great food and interest in learning about our pantry range Strong product knowledge and enthusiasm for sharing recommendations Excellent organisation and accuracy with stock and inventory Able to work confidently in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment Strong communication skills, including when dealing with suppliers Proactive, enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding service Strong teamwork skills and the ability to stay focused and helpful during busy trading time A creative eye and strong attention to detail for designing and assembling beautiful hampers Additional Information This is a full‑time role of 37 hours per week, working Tuesday to Saturday.
