Formulate financial plans for clients with low to medium complexity portfolios. Receive coaching and advice from experienced Senior Planners.

  • Footscray, Bendigo or Dandenong location, with flexible, hybrid work arrangement
  • 12 month contract
  • Full-time or part-time considered (minimum 26.6 hours per week)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Business/Commerce (Financial Planning), Diploma of Financial Planning (or equivalent) and RG 146 compliant
  • Experience in para planning roles
  • Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and financial planning software (e.g. Xplan/Xtools+)
  • Desirable: Tertiary qualification in business/finance
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Para Planner, you’ll play a critical role in delivering quality financial planning services to our clients. Working within our experienced Financial Planning team, you’ll provide technical and strategic support to formulate financial advice for low to medium complexity client portfolios.
You’ll engage with a range of internal stakeholders and be responsible for producing advice documentation, investment instructions and client-ready reports.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Analyse client information to provide clear financial planning strategy direction
  • Prepare financial plans and investment performance review documents
  • Achieve revenue/volume production targets
  • Ensure compliance with ASIC and FPA guidelines and requirements
  • Satisfy internal and external audit standards
  • Maintain accurate records, update systems, and contribute to team targets
