Description St. Pius X High School is seeking a part-time dedicated and student-centered Paraeducator to join our Special Education team. This position supports our commitment to fostering a Christ-centered, inclusive learning environment for all students. The Paraeducator will work closely with the SPED team to assist students in Guided Studies classes and provide 1:1 or small-group support in general education classrooms. Key Responsibilities Support students in Guided Studies classes by reinforcing instruction, helping with assignments, and promoting executive functioning skills. Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students with learning needs, both in the Guided Studies setting and in general education classrooms. Collaborate with teachers to implement accommodations and modifications outlined in student learning plans. Encourage positive academic habits, organization, and self-advocacy skills. Help maintain a structured, supportive, and caring environment consistent with the Catholic mission of St. Pius X High School. Communicate regularly with the SPED team regarding student progress and needs. Assist with supervision duties as assigned.
