PARAJURISTE – SPÉCIALISTE RELATIVITY

Le parajuriste ou la parajuriste, Spécialiste (E-Discovery), joue un rôle crucial dans la gestion des processus de (e-discovery) à l’aide de Relativity One. Ce poste consiste à organiser, à évaluer, à gérer et à tenir à jour les documents électroniques échangés entre les parties pendant la phase de communication préalable des procédures judiciaires. Le candidat idéal ou la candidate idéale aura une solide expérience en technologie et en soutien administratif juridique.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in Paralegal Studies or a related field.
  • Certification from an accredited paralegal studies program (e.g., Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS)) will be beneficial.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on e-discovery.
  • Proficiency in using Relatvity/Relativity One and other e-discovery software (e.g., Logikcull, Everlaw, Disco).
  • Strong knowledge of electronic document management systems (e.g., NetDocs, iManage).
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. French will be beneficial.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Legal, Litigation, Infrastructure team, you will report to the Senior Director - Dispute Resolution and be responsible for:

  • Manage and maintain electronic documents using Relativity One.
  • Assist with the identification, collection, review, analysis, redaction, and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
  • Prepare and manage document productions, including privilege logs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding e-discovery.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, IT personnel, and records management staff to develop and implement e-discovery strategies.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings to assist in-house and external counsel.
  • Draft and edit legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and responses to requests for information.
  • Monitor and adhere to deadlines and ensure accurate calendaring of important dates.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and attorneys regarding e-discovery matters.
