SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Law degree or equivalent qualification
  • 12 months prior experience working in a paralegal or commercial role
  • Experience of document management
  • Experience of working closely with a variety of stakeholders to deliver results
  • Strong attention to detail and great organisational skills
  • Ability to work confidentially with sensitive information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel data analysis and presentation

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Paralegal role is responsible for supporting the delivery of legal services across the Activate Group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Records Management

  • Maintaining contracts databases, tracking key information and ensuring documents are available to key stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and updating corporate records for entities within the group and assisting with Companies House filings.
  • Managing correspondence

Case Management

  • Manage case files, track deadlines and support debt recovery procedures

Contracts

  • Review and draft basic contractual documentation such as confidentiality agreements, standard supply agreements and contract amendments
  • Manage contract sign off procedures

Research

  • Carry out legal research and present findings in concise and easy to read way

Other

  • Work collaboratively with the various internal departments such as HR, finance and marketing as well as other businesses in the Group to support the effective delivery of legal services in alignment with the Group’s objectives
