Job Description
AECOM Middle East are currently seeking a Paralegal, to join our Middle East legal counsel division. Based in Dubai, the Paralegal will support the end market Senior Counsels, and the Regional Chief Counsel on all business matters.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree of Law, required from an accredited University.
  • 2+ years’ experience in the legal field, ideally within construction or real estate
  • As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and organize legal documents including NDAs, MOUs, consultancy agreements, subcontracts, and service agreements.
  • Support the legal team in managing project-related contracts and ensuring compliance with local laws and international standards (e.g., FIDIC).
  • Conduct legal research on regional laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Assist in dispute resolution processes, including arbitration and litigation support.
  • Maintain and update legal databases, contract registers, and document management systems.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and advise internal stakeholders on potential impacts.
  • Support corporate governance tasks such as board resolutions, company secretarial duties, and licensing renewals.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal department, including gathering and relaying information to internal and external clients.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as updating spreadsheets, preparing correspondence, completing forms, and maintaining lists.
  • Support the preparation of internal project approvals and assist in managing claims and disputes.
  • Collaborate with commercial and project teams to protect AECOM’s business interests and strategic objectives.
