Description Job Title: Paralegal Location: Corporate Headquarters, Marietta, GA Company Overview: ProCo, LLC is a management service organization dedicated to supporting medical clinics in delivering high-quality healthcare. We partner with clinics to optimize operations, enhance compliance, and streamline administrative processes, ensuring a focus on exceptional patient care. Position Overview: The Paralegal will provide comprehensive legal support to the General Counsel and the broader legal team. This role involves conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts and regulatory documents, and assisting with compliance and corporate governance matters specific to the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Legal Research & Documentation: Conduct legal research on healthcare regulations, industry standards, and case law Prepare legal memoranda, summaries, and reports to support the General Counsel’s initiatives Contract & Document Management: Draft, review, and revise contracts, service agreements, and policy documents Maintain accurate records and organized filing systems for corporate documents Compliance & Regulatory Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with HIPAA, healthcare laws, and other regulatory requirements Support the preparation and filing of regulatory documentation as needed Discovery Coordination: Coordinate discovery responses and manage document production processes for litigation, regulatory inquiries, and internal investigations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality Administrative Assistance: Coordinate schedules, meetings, and communications for the General Counsel Assist with the organization of legal files, case management, and project documentation Collaboration & Special Projects: Work closely with internal departments and outside counsel to facilitate legal projects Contribute to ad hoc legal projects and initiatives that support the organization’s goals Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution; equivalent work experience may be considered Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably with exposure to healthcare or corporate legal environments Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail Knowledge & Attributes: Familiarity with healthcare law, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment Demonstrated organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package A collaborative and supportive work environment Opportunities for professional development within a growing company in the healthcare sector Requirements Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution; equivalent work experience may be considered Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably with exposure to healthcare or corporate legal environments Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail Knowledge & Attributes: Familiarity with healthcare law, HIPAA, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment Demonstrated organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
