We have an exciting opportunity available for a Paralegal to join the APA Legal and Governance team on a permanent fulltime basis. Reporting to the Group Counsel - Corporate, the primary objective of this position is providing legal and administrative support to the in house Legal team. Sydney-based is preferred, but willing to consider Brisbane or Perth. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and manage standard legal agreements (e.g. NDAs, supplier contracts). Conduct legal research and prepare summaries on corporate and regulatory matters. Assist with internal legal queries and provide preliminary guidance under supervision. Manage document filing systems and legal databases Support matter tracking, reporting, and billing processes. Assist the Legal team with strategic legal projects focussed on improving efficiency and reducing spend Your background Diploma or Certificate in Legal Studies (or equivalent) preferred. 2–4 years’ experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role, preferably in-house or in a corporate law firm Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proactive, results-driven, intellectually curious and willing to upskill in unfamiliar areas Strong communication skills, collaborative and the ability to work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders About the Team The Legal, Governance & Regulatory function exists to support APA to manage legal risk through the delivery of independent, commercially orientated, cost effective, high quality and timely legal advice and services.
